FAQ

How is this different from Claude.ai (the web app)?

Same model, different scope. Desktop has file attachments and runs on your machine — useful when you're working with local YAML, CSV exports, or dashboard screenshots you don't want to upload to a web app.

Does this cost extra?

No. The MCP connection is included on every Clamp tier including Free.

Can I connect multiple Clamp projects?

Yes — install the connection once per project. Each connection is scoped to one project.

What about PII?

Clamp rejects email-shaped strings server-side, IP addresses are discarded after country lookup, and the MCP returns aggregated metrics by default.
