What Claude Projects can answer

“What did last week's launch do to our signup funnel?”
Anyone in the Project can ask. Claude pulls funnel.create on the signup steps for the 7 days before and after the launch timestamp and returns the per-step delta — same answer regardless of who asked.
“Has the new pricing page outperformed the old one?”
Calls traffic.compare on /pricing for the windows before and after the change, plus revenue.sum to check whether the better engagement actually moved paid signups.
“What's the top traffic source we're not paying for?”
Runs traffic.breakdown by utm_source filtered to organic + referral. Returns the top channels with their conversion rates so the team can discuss what to double down on.
“Write a one-paragraph summary of yesterday's traffic for our standup.”
Pulls traffic.overview, pages.engagement, and any active errors. Returns a paragraph ready to paste into a standup or async update.

FAQ

Do all members of the Project need a Clamp account?

No. The connection is registered once and scoped to one Clamp project; all Project members inherit the access level you grant. Useful when the analytics owner isn't the same person asking most of the questions.

Can I scope what the Project can do?

Yes. Read-only is the default. Create/update operations require editor permissions on the Clamp side.

Does this cost extra?

No. The MCP connection is included on every Clamp tier including Free.

What about PII?

Clamp rejects email-shaped strings server-side, IP addresses are discarded after country lookup, and the MCP returns aggregated metrics by default.
